Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Sahab Athan mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Sahab Athan is developed and operated by Sahab Solutions ("we," "our," or "us").

Description of Service

Sahab Athan is an Islamic prayer companion application that provides:

• Accurate prayer times based on your location
• Beautiful athan (call to prayer) sounds
• Prayer time notifications and reminders
• Qibla direction compass
• Monthly prayer time calendar
• Prayer tracking features

Account Registration

To use Sahab Athan, you may create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Age Requirements

Sahab Athan is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for users of all ages. However:

• Users under 13 should have parental permission to create an account
• Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of the app
• By creating an account for a minor, parents agree to these Terms on their behalf

Location Services

Sahab Athan requires access to your location to provide accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. By using the App, you agree to:

• Grant location access for prayer time calculations
• Optionally enable background location for automatic updates while traveling
• Alternatively, manually enter your location if you prefer not to use GPS

Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Pricing and Subscriptions

Sahab Athan is currently provided free of charge. However, we reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future.

If we introduce paid features:

• We will provide advance notice through in-app notifications or email
• Existing free features may remain free or be included in a free tier
• Subscriptions will be billed through the Apple App Store
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device settings
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• No refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law

We do not directly collect or store payment information. All payment processing is handled by Apple according to their privacy policies.

User Content

You retain ownership of any data you create in Sahab Athan, including:

• Your prayer tracking history
• App preferences and settings
• Custom athan sound preferences
• Notification configurations

By using Sahab Athan, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and sync your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Athan Content

The athan (call to prayer) sounds provided in Sahab Athan are sacred Islamic audio. By using this app, you agree to:

• Treat the athan content with respect and reverence
• Use the app for legitimate prayer and spiritual purposes
• Not modify, distort, or misuse the athan recordings
• Not use the app for any purpose that would disrespect Islamic practices

Prayer Time Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate prayer times, please note:

• Prayer times are calculated using established Islamic calculation methods
• Results may vary slightly from local mosque times
• We recommend verifying with your local Islamic authority for critical matters
• GPS accuracy and calculation method selection can affect results

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Create multiple accounts
• Use the App in any way that violates Islamic principles

Intellectual Property

The Sahab Athan app, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Sahab Solutions and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Create derivative works based on the App

Disclaimer of Warranties

Sahab Athan is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy or reliability of prayer times or Qibla direction
• Compatibility with all devices

Important: While we strive to provide accurate prayer times, we recommend verifying with local Islamic authorities for critical matters. Sahab Athan is a tool to assist your prayer routine and should complement, not replace, guidance from qualified Islamic scholars.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sahab Solutions shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Missed prayers due to notification failures or inaccurate times
• Any damages arising from your use of the App
• Service interruptions or data loss

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sahab Solutions from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Sahab Athan at any time, with or without cause, including for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended inactivity
• Disrespectful use of Islamic content

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app settings or by contacting us.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through:

• In-app notifications
• Email (if provided)
• Updating the "Last updated" date

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Indiana.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sahab Solutions regarding Sahab Athan.
