App development in Indianapolis.

Sahab Solutions is a small software studio in Fishers, in Hamilton County, 25 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. We design, build, and publish iPhone and Android apps for businesses and organizations, and we publish and maintain apps of our own on the App Store, so we know the whole road from first sketch to a live listing.

What kinds of apps does Sahab build for Indianapolis businesses?

We build customer apps, booking and ordering apps, member and community apps, staff and field apps, and companion apps for an existing website or system. Each one is designed around a single job that the people using it need done quickly, on a phone, without a lesson.

An app often works best next to a website or internal system. For those, see our page on custom software development in Indianapolis.

Customer apps

A branded app your regulars keep on their home screen, with your menu, services, loyalty rewards, and offers one tap away, and notifications you control.

Booking and ordering

Appointments, classes, reservations, pickup, and delivery orders, with payments taken inside the app and every request landing where your staff already look. If customers should also order from a website, see our online ordering service.

Member and community apps

Directories, event sign-ups, announcements, prayer or service schedules, and donation or dues payments for clubs, congregations, and nonprofits.

Staff and field apps

Checklists, job photos, signatures, and time or delivery records captured on the phone in the field and sent to the office as they happen. The office side is often one of our internal tools and dashboards.

Companion apps

A phone app for a website or system you already run, so customers or staff can reach the same accounts and records from their pocket.

Do I need an app or a website?

Choose a website when people mostly need to find information, book, or order from a link. Choose an app when people will come back often, want notifications, or need the phone itself, such as its camera, its location, or use without a signal. Many businesses start with a website and add an app once customers return regularly.

Start with a site

Your hours, your menu, your services, and a way to reach you. It is found through search and needs nothing installed.

Add an app for repeat use

Loyalty rewards, saved orders, reminders, and quick re-booking reward the customer who comes back every week.

Build for staff first

If the people who gain the most are your own crew in the field, an app for them can matter before any customer app does.

How does an app project with Sahab work?

Every project follows the same six steps, and you know which one you are in at any time. You see the price before anything is built, and you hold the app in your hand well before it reaches the store.

Omar, the owner and senior engineer, is on every project and is the person you talk to from the first call to the last fix.

A free consultation

We learn who the app is for and what they need to do with it. If a website or an existing tool would serve them better, we say so.

One fixed, itemized quote

You see the scope, the milestones, and what each part costs before work starts. Nothing is billed by the hour.

Designs you can tap through

Before we build, you tap through the screens on your own phone and change what does not feel right.

Build with regular previews

You get working versions to hold in your hand along the way, so there are no surprises at the end.

Store submission and launch

We prepare the listing and submit the app to the App Store and Google Play, then launch it with you.

Support after launch

We stay on to fix problems, keep the app current, and add features as your business grows.

Which apps has Sahab built and published?

Sahab designs, builds, submits, and maintains its own apps on the App Store: Sahab Hifz, Sahab Athan, Chefless, Sahab Audio, and Sahab Tasks. Here is what three of them do.

Sahab Hifz showing a page of the Quran to memorize

Sahab HifzApp Store

Memorize the Quran page by page

It puts the printed mushaf on the phone, lets the reader recite from memory, and schedules revision so what was learned stays learned. We built it, published it, and keep it current.

Sahab AthanApp Store

Prayer times, athan voices, and Qibla

Accurate prayer times, a choice of athan voices, and a precise Qibla in one focused app. It is the kind of app people open every day, so it has to work every time.

Chefless helps home cooks plan a week of meals, follow recipes step by step, and turn the plan into a grocery list. We designed, built, and published it, and we run it today.

How much does it cost to build an app in Indianapolis?

The cost depends on scope, and we give it to you as one fixed, itemized quote after a free consultation. We never bill by the hour. What moves the quote is how many screens the app has, whether people sign in or pay, and how many outside systems it connects to.

For a fuller explanation of what drives the price, read what it costs to build custom software or an app.

The first conversation

Free. You leave knowing whether an app is the right next step.

The build

One fixed quote that lists each part, approved by you before work begins.

Running costs

Hosting and store fees are named up front, so nothing after launch is a surprise.

How long does it take to build an app?

The schedule depends on the same things that set the price: the number of screens, accounts and payments, and connections to systems you already use. We put a schedule in writing with your quote, and it includes time for Apple and Google to review the app before it goes live.

Smaller scope, sooner launch

An app that does one job well can reach the store much sooner than a full platform. You can add features later through a change order.

Previews along the way

Because you see working versions as we build, delays show up early and decisions get made while they are still cheap.

Who handles App Store and Google Play approval?

Sahab does. We prepare the listing, screenshots, and privacy details, submit the app to Apple and Google, and answer any questions the reviewers raise. The app is published under your own developer account, so the listing belongs to you. Nobody can promise an approval date, so we plan for the review.

After the app is live

We stay on. We watch for problems, fix what breaks, update the app when new versions of iPhone and Android arrive, and add features as your business grows. Support is a monthly rate agreed up front, and the same senior engineer who built the app answers when you call.

Frequently asked questions

Do you meet in person in Indianapolis?

Yes. We can meet at your business anywhere in Indianapolis, or by phone if you prefer. Sahab is based in Fishers, a short drive north of downtown. You work with Omar, the owner and senior engineer, from the first conversation through launch and after.

Will my app work on both iPhone and Android?

Yes. We build one app that runs on both iPhone and Android, so you pay for one build and your customers get the same experience on either phone. We list it on the App Store and Google Play.

Who owns the app and its data?

You own your data and your accounts, including the developer accounts the app is published under. Sahab builds and runs the software, and the details of ownership are written into your agreement before work begins.

Can you add an app to my existing website or system?

Yes. Many apps start as a companion to a site or tool a business already uses. We connect the app to your existing accounts and records so customers and staff see the same information in both places.

What if I am not sure I need an app yet?

Start with the free consultation. We will talk through who would use the app and how often, and tell you plainly if a website, a simple tool, or waiting would serve you better. There is no charge and no obligation.

Tell us who the app is for.

Describe the people who would use it and what they should be able to do. The consultation is free, and you will hear plainly whether an app, a website, or something simpler fits.
