Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FamilyEats mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

FamilyEats is developed and operated by Sahab Solutions ("we," "our," or "us").

Description of Service

FamilyEats is a meal planning and grocery list application that provides:

• Recipe creation and management
• Meal planning with calendar scheduling
• Automatic shopping list generation
• Household collaboration features
• Real-time syncing across devices

Account Registration

To use FamilyEats, you may:

• Create an account with your email and password
• Use Guest Mode for temporary access

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Household Features

FamilyEats allows you to create or join households for collaborative meal planning:

• Household Owners: Can manage settings, invite members, transfer ownership, and delete the household
• Household Members: Can view and edit shared recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists
• Invite Codes: You are responsible for sharing invite codes only with trusted individuals

By joining a household, you consent to sharing your display name and collaborative data with other household members.

Subscriptions and Payments

Free Plan

The free version of FamilyEats includes:

• Up to 5 recipes
• Up to 5 meal plan entries
• Up to 2 household members
• Basic features

Pro Subscription

FamilyEats Pro offers:

• Unlimited recipes
• Unlimited meal plans
• Unlimited household members
• Priority support

Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

Household Pro Benefits

When a household owner has Pro status, all household members benefit from unlimited features. If the owner's subscription ends, the household reverts to free plan limits.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in FamilyEats, including:

• Recipes and their descriptions
• Custom ingredients
• Meal plans

By using FamilyEats, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and sync your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Share your account credentials with others
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits

Intellectual Property

The FamilyEats app, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Sahab Solutions and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Create derivative works based on the App

Disclaimer of Warranties

FamilyEats is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy or reliability of any information
• Nutritional accuracy of recipes or meal plans

Important: FamilyEats is a meal planning tool only. We do not provide nutritional, dietary, or medical advice. Always consult appropriate professionals for health-related decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sahab Solutions shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Any damages arising from your use of the App
• Actions of other household members
• Service interruptions or data loss

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sahab Solutions from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Content you create or share
• Your interaction with other users

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to FamilyEats at any time, with or without cause, including for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Extended inactivity

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your household (if owner) or leaving your household and contacting us for account deletion.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through:

• In-app notifications
• Email (if provided)
• Updating the "Last updated" date

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Indiana.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sahab Solutions regarding FamilyEats.
